Safety

Safety isn't a promise. It's a mechanism.

No blanket promises. Aperko is built to protect you at every step — from verification through the first meeting to the evening itself. Here's exactly what we do for your safety.

Both sides verified

Women and men both go through identity verification via Stripe Identity — ID and a short selfie, plus an 18+ check. The photo in the profile is the person who shows up. We don't store documents, only the result.

First meeting always in public

The default is a partner venue where staff know you're coming from Aperko. A couple's first meeting is always in a public place — no exceptions, no pressure to move.

Check-in during the evening

After the meeting starts you get an “all OK?” message. If a woman doesn't reply, our operator reaches out and, if needed, escalates to your friend.

One-tap share with a friend

With one tap you send a trusted person the venue, time and your match's first name. Your friend is in the loop all evening.

Reporting and blocking

After the meeting both sides briefly rate how the evening went. Anyone who doesn't behave loses access. You can report or block at any time.

Your phone number stays hidden

You never exchange numbers — all coordination runs through the app. Location is shown only at district level, never the exact spot.

Profiles and photos for verified users only

Your profile and photos are visible only to registered, verified users inside the app. No one from outside can find them — they don't appear in search engines like Google and aren't publicly accessible on the web.

If something feels off

During the evening our operator is on the phone. Just reply to the check-in message or send an SOS — we respond immediately.
